![]() Hopefully anyone else having this issue will see this. I am having the same issue with Asus Aura 1.07. Sure enough, I powered down computer, took power cable out, repowered everything, reinstalled aura latest version, and voila! It works! Thank you very much for your reply! I thought I was going crazy. When you restart the LED should stop being stuck, if it's not back to rainbow changes, it hasn't cleared the settings out of BIOS. Or maybe the capacitors are just big, and it wasn't getting power after all. Guess what I discovered? This board was somehow getting a trickle of power! I had to UNPLUG THE POWER CABLE. In fact just to be on the safe side I turned off the PSU. [EDIT!} I just tried that and a normal restart won't work. The only way to repair it is to uninstall it and reinstall it. I also have Corsair Link and tried to use a default profile with the light changed back to white but that had no effect. When his hole was the right diameter, he looked up. However, I am still able to change the LED on my Asus 1070 and that works fine. Asus was using a punch, working carefully to avoid deforming his piece. I'm not sure Rainbow or whatever will work long term, I need more time to troubleshoot.Īfter it crashes, upon trying to restart the service will start eating up to 25% CPU. If you want to keep fussing with your lights, definitely DO NOT USE THE MUSIC FUNCTION. I have a brand new ROG Strix 270E and have the same issues.I've narrowed it down to using any of the advanced functions, particularly synchronized music strobe. I do have corsair link installed, but it's not running. It looks like a small command prompt window, not the aura window.Īura used to run ok for me before, don't know what the problem is. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling every version of the software, and all it does is a small window pops up and off so quick that I cannot see it. The Aura software on my computer will not open either. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling.Įdit: I weird coincidence maybe, but I noticed that my motherboard lights have matched up perfectly to the static lighting I had set for my Corsair H115i. And I'm sure I installed the correct Aura software since it was under my utilities downloads after I registered my Maximus online. The odd thing about that error is that I'm not using an X99, I'm on a Z270. I killed all Aura-related programs that are running in the background, and I get this Doctor Dump report after doing so: Aura doesn't show up in my taskbar, but it's showing up in my background applications. When asked if you want to save changes, click Yes. So I opened the Aura software with administrator permissions, a small application window would open and close within half a second, and that's it. Click the Link/Unlink button beneath the DRAM icon the icon will change to white when linked. Right click on desktop Aura icon, run as administrator (this will open Aura) - If devices are missing from Aura UI, hit the refresh icon Here is the installation procedure of AURA Sync 1.07. ![]() It launched but was not showing Graphics Card in the interface. Asus Aura the utility that control the lights on the Asus motherboard and other components stops working for unknown reasons. Software launched just for once time after that. After doing some overclocking, I happened to look down at my PC and saw that my Auras weren't right. The only thing that worked but for once was that I shutdown the PC. Got my settings good to go, and that's it. I was able to run Aura just fine when I first completed my build. I would be really grateful if someone here could share it with me.Built a system with the new Maximus IX and a 1080 Strix. I hope that someone does have some type of solution on how to fix it. This is really bugging me and im really tired of continusely trying to fix it but with no luck. But now after trying a fix that i saw on youtube which included downloading a different version of it, every time i turn it on now it just goes straight to the "aura has stopped working" pop up. I reinstalled the app, tried a different version, turned off fast startup etc.Īt first when it stopped working, an error message popped out every time i turned on Aura, saying that the service was unaviable. I have literally treid every possible fix that i found. All my components that were connected to it are now applied a rainbow effect instead of the static red that i had on earlier- It really bugs me as i like my setup to be consitent. So for a couple of days now my Asus aura was not opening at all.
